Who we are:
We are a family business located in the heart of Antwerp, close to the Rooseveltplaats and the Central Station with numerous transport options. We work with a total of 20 employees who, apart from on a bad day, come to work with pleasure.
We are active in the food sector where we sell pralines, cookies, cakes, ice cream and all other related chocolate products. In everything we do we strive for top quality. That starts with the purchase of the raw materials, to processing, to packaging and the service that our customers receive.
What we do:
We have a shop with a tearoom in Antwerp, we also have several sales outlets in other shops and we also have a branch in Japan, the land of the rising sun.
Quality is crucial to us, it is the common thread in everything we do. How we serve our customers, the products we deliver, the working methods etc. Each of us is an expert in his field. We like open communication and a good team spirit.
Who we are looking for:
For our pastry department we are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our team. Together with your colleague you ensure that our cakes always appear pico bello in our store.
Because you work in a small group, we expect flexibility from the entire team, which in turn creates a fun group dynamic. We help out where necessary, even if not everything is always part of your job description.
- You have a diploma in 'patisserie' and can demonstrate several years of experience
- You can work independently and enjoy learning
- You can work at a higher pace and have an eye for detail.
- You are hands-on and proactive
- You are a morning person. Your workday starts at 6am.

Chocolatier
Your profile:
- You have completed training as a chocolatier
- You have at least 3 years of experience
- You can work independently
- You are eager to learn

- a full-time schedule - 38 hours/week (you work alternately, also on Saturdays)

Assistant cook

Who we are looking for:
As an assistant chef you are responsible for the cold side of the kitchen.
- Preparing mise en place
- Cleaning vegetables
- Preparing vinaigrettes and cold sauces
- Dressing desserts and salads
- You are familiar with the HACCP rules and also apply them
- You have an eye for detail and ensure that all your plates are beautifully presented when they leave for the customer
- You are helpful and super friendly to your fellow colleagues
- • You know the difference between pepper and salt and can dose it well
- You are a team player and help out where necessary.
Washing up is a shared responsibility between the kitchen team and the dining room.
